We built a dream 15’ tall LED Treehouse for a custom home in Canada.

This was one of the few projects where the design process actually took longer than fabrication - over 4 months. One of the hardest things to get right was designing around the fireplace in the middle of the room, and having the installation be serviceable in such a tight space. We had to get every detail just right for such an intimate setting.

Another challenge for doing a custom installation for a private home is the control system. We typically control our larger systems with a computer, which has never been a problem for commercial activations.  

For this installation, a computer would have been too clunky to access when wanting to make a small change in the comfort of home.

 So, we broke out controls into a midi controller for the client, essentially making a custom light switch that could control color, animation, speed and more.
